Olorunjuwon Omolaja Bello

Olorunjuwon Omolaja Bello received Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), Master of Science (M.Sc) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degrees in Microbiology from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ogun State. His PhD benchwork was carried out in Microbial Biotechnology Unit, Department of Biological Sciences, North-West University, South Africa. Inclusively, he possessed National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology from The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

He began his academic and research career as a Graduate Assistant at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun state, Nigeria, a position awarded to him on ground of his outstanding performance at undergraduate. He has several years of professional academic and research experience. Within this stated years, he has obtained both national and international academic and research exposure through conferences, workshops, research and training. He has actively participated in scientific research in Universities abroad with most recent being North-West University, South Africa; McGill University, Montreal, and University of Ottawa, Canada. As a seasoned academic and scientist, he has equally contributed to knowledge both at local and international levels through publications. He is a recipient of several academic awards.

He has served in various sensitive positions within the University system, and these include the Departmental Coordinator for Continuing Education Programmes at OOU, Head of Department, Ag. Dean of College, and Chairman of several University Committees at Wesley University, Ondo State, Nigeria. Dr. Olorunjuwon Bello is presently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMEDs), Ondo State, Nigeria and a Research and Development Consultant.
